FAQ
Questions, answered.
Everything you might want to know before your first session.
Logistics
Do you offer in-person sessions?
No—The Breakthrough Space is a telehealth-only practice. Sessions happen over secure video, so you can meet from home, your car during a break, or anywhere private with an internet connection.
What states can you see clients in?
Ashley is licensed in Florida and Virginia, and can only work with clients who are physically located in one of those two states at the time of their session. If you're located elsewhere, visit our guide to finding support outside FL/VA.
What ages do you work with?
Ages 15 and older.
Is online therapy as effective as in-person?
Research generally shows telehealth therapy is comparably effective to in-person care for most concerns—with the added benefit of flexibility, privacy, and easier scheduling around work or family life.
Cost & insurance
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Ashley is in-network with several major insurers through Headway and Alma, including Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Florida Blue. See the Rates & Insurance page for the full list.
What if I want to pay out of pocket?
Private-pay sessions are $95 for individuals and $180 for couples. Payment is accepted by major credit card or HSA.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
Yes, a limited number of sliding-scale spots are available for clients who may be eligible. Ask about this during your free consultation.
